Yes, I've tried both cracks. Paradox cracktro exits with ESC, tried long pressing it a bit, it doesn't work, gives me a guru after exiting cracktro.
Same with DLT, quits with mouse but long pressing it before will not skip the intro, and again, it goes to guru. Another version just froze after exiting the crack text (I think it was DLT one's with an added trainer) without giving a guru. Will try again tonight with some other adfs, but it surely is a problem with a normal a500. Still haven;t figured if all this is due to goteks firmware or the specific adf's. |

The chipset check is buggy as already mentioned in this thread. I have already replaced the chipset check with my very own routine and will now have to add some tweaks so it will also load on 1MB Amigas with external floppy drive. And a crack intro has to be coded too. Expect final version in a few days. Quote:
My version works if you disable your external disk drive as already mentioned in my first post here. |

I had it disabled but still would not work. As for tower assault i made adfs from my old floppies and now it works - paradox version. Probably bad downloads before ! Superman if you want them i can upload them, they should work for you i guess.

OK, I uploaded the game in the Zone. (Hopefully i didn't mix up with old adf's, I have tried so many different tower assault adf's that I've lost the count !)

Thanks for the upload. Unfortunately for me I still have a crash and Guru Meditation after the crack screen. It seems to play fine in WinUAE though so I guess its one of those strange inconsistent problems. lol

Does the original v1.01 actually contain a valid track 79?
I have two v1.01 disk dumps of Arcade Pool and both sides of track 79 on one dump are unformatted and the other dump has some kind of data on both sides but not ADOS? Creating IPF's in Disk-Utilities creates unformatted tracks on 79 and loading in WinUAE on an OCS/ECS config shows track 79 trying to be read several times then steps to track 0 and starts loading the game from track 2! The official IPF (which does not say v1.01 in game like my 2 dumps do) shows track 79 as a valid PDOS track and just pauses on that track when loading before stepping back to track 2 and loading the game. If you load the game on an AGA setup it doesn't access track 79, so why does v1.01 contain a non-PDOS track 79 and does it matter? |

Good question. If the IPF contains a RNPDOS track in track 79, it can't be invented.
Just send me your own dumps. I'll get a look. |

The official IPF is not the same version as my dumps though Denis, so v1.01 may have been duplicated differently than the official IPF!
I'll send you my dumps! |

Track 79 tries to be loaded, but track 79 is empty on both your disk dump, and mine as well.
Your loose 2nd copy has track 2.1 3.1 modified (those are amigados). This v1.01 is not preserved by SPS yet. We only have v1.00 (IPF 0298). |

So track 79 was duplicated like that, either junk or unformatted! So is my other v1.01 unmodified?

Yes duplicated like that. I have 3 dumps handy which show the same.
The other v1.01 you have is not modified. |
