CD32: how to open expansion port?
I really had no idea this could be complicated, but I found myself unable to open the expansion port cover of the CD32. I removed the screw and thought it would easily pop out, but it doesn't! Where am I supposed to exert force? Which way does it pop out? I didn't want to break it so I gave up and came here.
What a noob!

looking at it from the back...push a medium sized flat screwdriver in the gap and and about 10 mm from the bottom (this is where there is a clip) on the right hand side of the cover then gently push the screwdriver to the right and up at the same time so it hinges on the left like a door keep going till you free the clip on the left hand side.
At lot of used CD32`s have these clips broke because of the brute force used to take them off

Would you be so kind to post a photo of where?
Am I supposed to open it like if it has a hinge on one side, slide it out parallel to the case, or pop it towards me? I'm really confused and don't want to break it Stupid Commodore doing ridiculous things like this again... |
