What? Mortal Kombat for MS-DOS was almost arcade perfect. It was by FAR the best home version available of the game.

The Amiga version was garbage.

Yeah ran just fine on mine and as playable as MK1 can be with its cheating AI. Not even the arcade version can be called polished, it just wasn't designed that way yet. MK2 is the polished iteration. Still with cheating AI.

The Amiga version was far from garbage. And the MS Dos one was maybe arcade perfect if you had the recquirements for it, which were far more expensive than an Amiga 500 with 512Ko extension.

Especially the music. It sounds like a soupy mess on the Amiga!
It wonder if they just ran MIDI through a converter or something, it doesn't sound like it was written from scratch for Amiga at all (unlike MI1).

Even in that pic if the game was Amiga specific 90% of the visuals would match PC version with split rasters.

sokolovic said that the PC version 'doesn't look better'. Of course individual taste is different, but I'd say that the lack of colors is quite visible in the Amiga screenshot (especially the light/glow of the candles)

It does look better but not far better like Space Quest IV or other Sierra Q&D conversions (for the exception of KGIV).
The Amiga version look nice IMO.

you can download it at igg-games
Since a few years, GOG, Good Old Games license some of the PC stuff most of us consider abandonware, subsequently, those can be bought on Steam or other platforms for a (usually) small fee. Now, I am not lecturing you or anything, but I think you should check first that it isn't the case with such and such game before simply suggesting people to download at / from igg.
Here's how I would have explained things myself :

Surely, latest version of Lollypop fixes a few bugs
you may obtain it from GOG website
https://www.gog.com/fr/game/lollypop
or grab it from igg if you don't want to bother

The publisher of Lollypop is Ziggurat Interactive and the game is also available on Steam.
