How's about a mods-move only forum, the Best Of Off Topic, where simply hilarious posts from the auto-deleting Off Topic section can be preserved for eternity?

Yes I agree however I think you can still find some if not all of these via google but I don't know how long they will stay archived there even

I'm not agree, I don't wanna waste resources for offtopic, even if it's part of our daily life, the focus of the forum is only amiga, not dizzy delirium.

by the way, how could you explain that most of the last new threads in offtopic are only created by Dizzy, Fred & You ? It's called spam, no ?

Take a look at lemon 64 to see what a preserved off-topic forum does to the main board. Also you will end up with individuals who have 5000 + post counts who almost never post on-topic.

I think people who post a certain percentage of off-topics should be banned.

I do agree that OT shouldn't be kept. Noone read old OT, its only funny in the moment. Not many OT threads get any answers if they are older than 2-3 days.
