A1200 and old games help

First off, first post for me so hello!

Also I'm sorry if this has been discussed before or is in the wrong place but this has got me going round in circles and very confused!

Background: I have a working A1200 with 8mb RAM Expansion. I also have a working 320mb 2.5" HDD that I obtained pre-installed with WB3.1 on. It is partitioned into System and Programs and has Knights of the Sky installed on the Programs partition. WHDLoad is installed and registered in my name on that drive.

Having used WinUAE successfully for a while as an emulator, I've now connected my Amiga HDD to my PC (running Vista) in order to install the games directly on it. WinUAE sees the HDD and can boot from it ok. I've also set up a config that has mapped(?) pc folders as DH1 and DH2.

Problem: I want to now install all my old favourite games on so I can take the HDD and put it in my A1200 and use on standalone. I've downloaded the files from WHDownload on to my PC but I cannot see how to get them on the Amiga HDD.

As a test I have tried installing DataStorm (using the guide here). This installs but only when I include the DH1 and DH2 in the config. So I think it's running in emulation off the PC as if I just boot from the HDD in WinUAE it's not there.

So (please be gentle as this is doing my head in) how do I get the downloaded games to install on the HDD so i can take it out an use it in my A1200?

make a new folder for the games on your workbench hardrive and then drag your files from dh1: dh2 etc to that folder. Works for me
