Colour Cycling - 3D Torus - Boing Ball

Hi Everyone,

I have been wanting to do another Colour Cycling/3D animation with Lightwave and BrillianceII for sometime and had a moment today to create one.

The first demo was this one [ Show youtube player ]

The new one is here [ Show youtube player ]

Specs:

320x256 x 256 colours (100 frames)
Software: Lightwave 3D and BrillianceII

More details of how it was done is on my Blog and will soon post a speedvideo of the process if it helps.

Fascinating stuff…

When you say in your Blog that “Lightwave still exports IFF files…” do you mean Lightwave 3D 2020?

Hi Lester_smsc, While it’s using emulation, settings are for A1200, 030 processor. I have IFF file here in the attached files. You would also need extra memory. https://www.patreon.com/posts/59454685

Yes PerspexSphinx, 2020 version of Lightwave. I plan on recreating the simple scene via Lightwave 3.5.
