CD32 Help
Hello there my fellow forum chummies I am (yet again) in need of your help
I have been for a long while collecting components here and there for a CD32.. however I have managed to find myself at an impass. I have a 1. Motherboard (working - powers up) 2. Optical Drive (known as working) 3. Button / led and stero volumn / connection pannel 4. Bottom plastics 5. Top plastics. Okay, so all is together and she powers up, - but no drive action. on closer inspection I think I am missing the CDROM top pressure plate and I will be honest I think I am missing some bits for the door mechanism (to let the machine know if its open / closed). 1. Has anyone got pictures of an exploded (dismanteld) CD32 with all the components? 2. Has anyone got drawings / scanned manuals or info ? 3. Has anyone got spare bits that can help or know where I can get them??? Please please please help as I want this for my dughter to play her "brian the lion & Alfred Chicken" of all things... Me.... I just want it for some Friday night / Curry night fun with some speedball 2/ sensi soccer / alien breed(s) and bit of wing-commander =) thanks for reading. |

The CD32 door should have a little clip on the side to the front which is viewable on outside.to set off the drive when its closed.
