A1200 Caps Lock Light
Hi all
I've been doing a lot of upgrades on my A1200 (cf flash, aca1221, new floppy etc) and I've noticed the Caps Lock LED won't light up although the keyboard works fine. Is this easily fixed? |

But the Caps lock work? if yes, then only need replace LED. Easy but you need remove a lot of screws.

The resistor below the caps lock key may have been dislodged.

My A1200 Power Tower's keyboard is suddenly inoperable because the Caps Lock light is on and won't turn off.
Anyone got a fix/diagnosis? Thanks in advance, Gary |

Is it a standard Amiga keyboard, as in, from a big box Amiga? It might be a capacitor failure on the keyboard PCB that causes it to constantly reset itself, a fault I've fixed in several Amiga keyboards. If it's not an Amiga keyboard, it could be an issue with the keyboard adaptor used in the case.
