I just uploaded the following video wich i recorded from Swedish television in 1990... it's about game violence, all games are from Amiga.
In Swedish language only of course, i thought about adding english text but it's too difficult.

Does anyone have a status update for longplays.net (World of Longplays)? According to the last news three months ago it was going to close but someone else stepped in to take the reins and was going to create a new website. Then...nothing.

I'll take it as good news- looking forward to it even if it takes longer. I'm just glad to hear it wasn't abandoned as it appeared to be.

The commercials for Amiga on YouTube are hysterical. The Only Amiga monster ballad brought tears to my eyes.

Headline in the newspaper from that clip reads 'Game violence stopped now. Toy stores cleared of violent games.' and '6yo plays (ehm what is it?) dismemberment murderer'. I'd say game violence wasn't stopped in 1990.

T'is a period piece!

ps. Ban Pac-Man. It's about cannibalism. He just eats his enemies after popping pills. The power of Spin

Go to min 1:10.

Does anyone seen an Amiga keyboard like this? With a C= key instead of an Amiga one?

Sure. Those keyboards were used on the very earliest Amiga 500s. The feel of those keyboards is truly fantastic. I've attached a photo of mine. Sorry about the crappy picture. I'm not much of a photographer.

Many thanks Klinger. My A500 was manufactured in 1987 and has regular Amiga keys.

The photo is pretty good.

What was the name of the space shoot 'em up in that Swedish video; the one in which the alien barks a command on a panel on the right? I used to play that and I haven't seen it for donkey's years!
Looking at that film reminds me how fast and playable Amiga games were (and looking at this site, that last word could be 'are').

Don't know if these have been posted already (didn't find anything in a quick search); some excellent musical talent shown here by Reyn Ouwehand!

The boy interviewed, Mathias Thinsz, reviewed games for Datormagazin around 1991-1992 (and he also wears a Datormagazin tshirt)

I finally updated my channel with playlists of all my longplays.
That took longer to do than I expected.
Hopefully that'll shut up all the whiners.
