A1200 hard disk compatible Sound/Pro/Fast tracker?

I'm not sure what you mean but why music software may be not compatible with hard drive? You can also load trackers, modules and instruments from floppy disks. Amiga trackers can not read disks formatted with PC.

Some apps (not trackers) I tried, didn't really work on HD (after copying the files). Was wondering if this is the case with trackers as well. I got soundtracker v2.6 and it requires OCS/ECS mod in order for the GUI to work. It does "hang" quite often and I have to restart my A1200. This is why I'm asking if there's a more easy-to-work-with version out there.

Try to assign hard drive name same as floppy disk with your app. And maybe try ProTracker instead of SoundTracker.

I suggest Protracker. If you have 030 installed, try downloading 3.61 version, it's good (some minor bugs though).

Try also Protracker V2.3D and V3.62 repaired? + year 2000 fix.
