Dont think any A600's have the upper shield. Every one I have see has it missing as I dont think there was enough room for it. Lets be fair it was a poor design, with the ram chips about 2 or 3 mm's from the metal of the floppy drive.

Sorry I meant the bottom sheild, I might still need one, depending on if Airey has one to include or not...

Would it be adviseable to use it without a bottom shield?

He bought my CD32 last week and paid over the odds for it, amazed at how he plans to make money with it.

Yep, he buys some weird stuff, he was bidding high on those 5 dirty A600's not sure where the profit was on those, I know he dosent use retrobrite lol. Maybe he was taking a gamble on there being Ram upgrades inside?

Anyway i've got enough bits once his stuff arrives to build another A600

Thanks Lorfarius for the Case/Keyboard

Still cost me £30 (including the P&P's) to build it so its not a profit making exercise but it'll be a reasonably priced A600 in very nice white condition

Steve.

All the A600's i've owned never had the top part of the RF shield either... but i do know some of the earlier A600's had the top RF shield
