Pinball Dreams & Fantasies on Android @60fps
Since 2011 I've been envious of iPhone owners for having Pinball Dreams and Fantasies ports.
Last year I tried the PSP ports (which I had bought in 2011) on my Android phone with PPSSPP but it had weird gfx artifacts. Today I tried it again and now it's perfect (screenshot from HuaWei P8 Lite 2017): Always smooth 60fps while gameplay isn't faster than the 50fps original. And Pinball Dreams has more colors. It's basically the AGA version that never was. If you have a 1080p display the PSP's 480x272-resolution scales perfectly to it (1 line on top and bottom is removed). Just make sure to disable frameskip and enable immersive mode to hide the three Android-buttons and use the full screen height: Immersive mode must be disabled and enabled again when you restart PPSSPP. With an Android box or Shield TV and a bluetooth mouse or gamepad you can also easily play this on your big screen TV. Last edited by john4p; 26 June 2019 at 22:05. |

Nice. I'll have a look on both android and raspberry pi.
I also just found out there is a decent ps1 port of fantasies called, Pinball Fantasies Deluxe. |

Not bad. There's also Pinball Illusions for PS1 which has the Vikings-table that the Amiga version lacks.

It's called "True Pinball" and uses 3D gfx but all 4 tables are from Illusions.

Just had a look at true pinball. Forced it to use 2D, Vikings table is cool, and sound is great

Ah right, you can change from 3D to 2D. 2D mode is not blurry at all.
