Amiga Game Factory site - beta + help
i've mosty finished the design of the AGF site, part of wich is already online here:
http://agf.abime.net i'm still waiting some text and files from the contributors and, as the released projects are not many still, the site is far from complete. neverteless, being the illitterate of html i am, i've stumbled in some problem perhaps you can help me solve. 1) this page, http://agf.abime.net/pages/released.html probably because the lack of content, has the position of logo and menu too low respect the others, but the code is the same. i tryed with valign and other tricks with no luck 2) the downloadable files (so far only one in the eob 1 page) give an error if you left click on them, while they works with right click + save as. can you give me some info? thanks! |

Do you want to remove the small white gap above the logo? if so then try this...replace this HTML Code:
<body class="menu_red" bgcolor="#ffffff">
HTML Code:
<body class="menu_red" bgcolor="#ffffff" topmargin="0">

Thanks for the tip Paul, still, with 1152*864 resolution (and above i guess) it doesn't fix the problem. is there a way to make the engine believe that an empty, variable in height, row of a table is bigger than an x number?
also, i forgot to say, if you open the page with iexplorer, not only the formatting of the text changes (i don't know how to fix that, but it's not a big deal) but the border around the padding of the thumbnail gets shrinked on the thumbnail as there was no padding, i've tryied some change there with no success. while i'm at it, i would like to make know to everybody of AGF interested, that if you want to get your project info hosted there, i'm collecting the resumeès and the screenshots. drop me a line. only please take in account my bradipus' timings in coding and updating |

IMHO, just remove the height=100% from the table. You also don't need height attributes in table rows elements. You can use height in the table data elements to control the cell height, but it's preferred to use styles.
