I've got a hard drive ahead!
Cant find any answers searching for this so im posting it:
I've just put a 2gig WD hard drive in my a1200, i am formatting it through workbench and it has taken just over an hour to do about 20% of the drive!! Is this normal or is the drive knackered?? I would also like to know if I can connect a CDR drive through the normal IDE connector? Any help is appreciated. |

And use the shortest cable you can get.
BTW, I think it is taking too long... my 1Gig gets reformatted in about 15 minutes at the most. |
