Personally, I think timers in certain platform games can spoil the fun e.q. in Turrican, Shadow Of the Beast II and a few others. In that respect, disabling them timers through an option in a trainer won't bring down the enjoyment you may have when attempting to complete the game presumably. Unlimited lives isn't such a big deal also, to some extend, but that's debatable. Also, Defender Of the Crown is much too easy to complete especially on the Amiga, Overdoc won't find real challenge here.
Having said that, Giana Sisters might be worth the effort, same with The Immortal, Dark Seed and Alfred Chicken. Good luck, brave adventurer!

Dungeon Master - some of the puzzles are pretty good - spell casting is really good.
Bloodwych - the two player option is always fun, spell systems not as good but still a worth while game to play
Turrican 2 - music, different types of gameplay, just a superb, atmospheric platformer
Treasure Island Dizzy - just loved this game, pretty hard until you've played it a few times and found the instant deaths, especially the one near the end
D/Generation - can be really tough in places but a really interesting game

Dungeon Master 1 finished together with a friend, also DM 2 until the final boss, and we even finished Chaos Strikes Back (with some help of a walkthru)

Turrican and Giana Sisters I would first like to play on my C64 since I got to know them on this sytem first

Immortal is a game I started to play once, but it seems I lost too much energy in the fights, and it doesn't get replenished when you finish a level, which is a big problem....
I know you can rest on the straw, but it is still difficult. There are passwords, but they also store your energy level.... I think I was in level 3 last time I tried this game, then gave up?

Defender of the Crown is something I really also need to try on the Amiga. I had no chance playing it on the C64, since I am not so much a strategic games player, and also the action sequences seemed hard on the C64, but it will put it on my 'Amiga games playlist'

Currently, however, I am playing Brian the Lion again, but need help how to find some secret levels...?
Maybe anyone here played it 'to death' and perhaps could know?

I finished D/Generation on PC, it's nice that you can save the game and don't need to start all over, I wonder if the game is just the same on Amiga. I also finished UFO-Enemy Unknown on PC and wouldn't on a normal Amiga, it takes forever calculating on 68020.

Hmm, then maybe I haven't tried hard enough, because I finished at least Lotus II as well.

I think you really need to master the fighting system in this game. I quite like it because you need to block the strikes from your opponent, but you need a lot of practice with it.

I second that. Save states also save time! we're not 15 anymore, we don't have all the time we need to perfect the game.

I would suggest Zeewolf 2. I enjoyed the game much, not only its gameplay, but also its political story. Definitelly worth completion.

Apidya would be a worthy one. Not only to experience the awesome soundtrack but also because it is about saving a loved one so you kind of have to. I think the difficulty in the game is well-balanced for a horizontal shooter, it takes a little practice of course but I don't ever remember shouting "Bullshit!" at the monitor.

The same for Elf, although I'd play that one with sound effects. Elf has a drop off for me though. The first two levels are really exploration and puzzle heavy and then as of the third level (the swamp) it kind of loses its cleverness a little. So maybe not fully complete that one but the first two/three levels definitely yes

Bob's Bad Day is probably the one I'm most pleased with having finished - it only took me 21 years. Definitely worth a go, Wizkid too.

Oddly I found Apidya even tougher than Project X, but then I always sucked at action games - almost all the games I actually completed are more strategic or puzzly.

I don't try to complete games these days but I guess would be something like It Came from the Desert, the effort put into making that game world (not talking about graphics/sound) deserves you keep exploring it.

Lethal Weapon is pretty fun and is pretty manageable in difficulty.
