I've uploaded Tex 5: Diabolico Intrigo to the Zone but I don't seem to have Tex 6 here.

Look what I found on my external hard drive from 2007

Checkmate 1.2

You'll need a WB 1.1/1.2 Extras disk with AmigaBASIC on it in
order to launch the game...
Now back in The Zone!

It's also been in my "Non-TOSEC" files for over 5 years now, but unfortunately the TOSEC team ignore them; but get excited when someone has only 14 x new unknown disks

See here.

@SquawkBox; I've created a standalone disk for you that doesn't require "WB 1.1/1.2 Extras disk with AmigaBASIC".

A file named "Chessmate v1.2 (1986)(Dark Horse).zip" is now in The Zone!

Warning... the game is flakey... if you move a piece where is shouldn't be able to go the system will guru.

Happens with the original also, no matter what A500 Quickstart you use.

Yup, I've noticed that too. Well, IRL, even complete beginners won't make illegal moves when playing chess except when Castling maybe. Play the game as if you wanted to defeat an opponent not to wiggle and you should be good to go.

EDIT : Well no, Grossmeister (1989) the original game (the version which requires to enter manual codes) allows illegal moves, well not really allows, but you can try to make such a move, only you won't be able to drop the piece there. There is a cracked version of Grossmeister but I think it failed at cracking the game (it failed as a crack, and it makes the game unplayable).

Have you tried
TOSEC/Games/[ADF]/G/Grossmeister (1989)(HS&Y)(DE)[cp manual code].zip
with
~Uploads/BastyCDGS/Scans/AMIGA/Games/Grossmeister (Chessmate) - Codes.zip

I copied to a text file featuring the codes that were offered by Cody earlier on in this thread, yup, that's the one. I played a game against the computer, and it couldn't make me checkmate although he had many occasions to do so. So in the end, I am not sure that program, be it in English or in German, can hold a candle to the commercial chess games we all know of.

Tex Games

Hi CodyJarrett,
would any of these be of interest, or have you found Tex6?. Are any of these still missing?
Cheers

Thanks, but they've all been found. The only Simulmondo games missing now (that we know of) are

Diabolik 12: Terrore A Teatro
Dylan Dog 14: Il Bosco Degli Assassini

Er, am I missing something? I see Dylan Dog 14 is crossed off, but the supposed link says the file is currently not available which it also apparently said in 2019 as well.

There's another thread which I can't find now; where someone found it and attached to their post or put in The Zone!

Here you: TheZone/files/_2020/Dylan Dog 14 - Il Bosco degli Assassini (1993)(Simulmondo)(IT).zip

...now update HOL

Thanks. I could have sworn I looked on the FTP earlier and didn't see it. I must be going blind in my old(er) age.

DBS added to HOL.
