Printer Driver problem

Is there somewhere I can get an updated printer driver for an HP Deskjet 682C. It has a driver that came with WB 3.9. I tried it and it works ok printing draft quality text mode but in "Final" quality mode the paper loads and just sits there while it is supposed to be printing. Then it ejects the paper when done with nothing printed. I checked the docs in Boing Bag 1 for 3.9 and it was mentioned the the 3.9 version drivers are rather buggie and to use the 3.5 drivers on the "Emergency Boot " folder on the 3.9 CD. I swapped the driver and the 3.5 driver works fine in both modes but it is slower than my old Commodore 1526 running under GEOS almost. Is there a better one I can try? Will "turbo print" help?
I am running a 1200, 040 chip 32 meg ram with OS 3.9.
