Will the Amiga use a monitor with a 16:10 aspect ratio ?

Well it depends on what you mean by "use".

Will it stretch a normal Amiga 3:4 picture to 16:10? Most likely yes, you will have that option in the monitor's menu. But you will distort the shapes of whatever is displayed. Better to use a centered 4:3 option with black bars on the sides.
Will you be able to set up a custom Workbench 16:10 resolution? Again, most likely yes, but it would take some fiddling.

To set up a custom Workbench, you might try the HighGFX package; also the there's a Super72 driver that gives 800x512, which is very close to 16:10.

Keep in mind, tho, that those may not work well with your monitor, because the horizontal frequency is lower than the 31.5 kHz VGA uses.

I just asked if this type of monitor, would work, replies say probably with some tinkering, that's all I need to know at this stage, hence my thanks for the replies reply.
