Fears Amiga CD32 Boxed version from eBay
Received a parcel today with Fears Boxed for the Amiga CD32 from eBay. The text on the back of the box is in German. I looked on Hall Of Light and the box scan was in english for the amiga 1200 version and a different image with German text for CD32 one. Is this normal? Has he sent me the German CD32 version instead of the english version or was the CD32 edition only ever printed in German language. Thanks for your help.

Yes, german release has a nice picture of spacemen fighting a monster while english has an ugly face.

I'm afraid the German release is censored. The text in the game is also English, but IIRC the amount of blood is reduced. I need to have a look again, but I did have a look about the German language 'issue' not so long ago.

Versions made
So was the box with the space solider fighting the monster (CD32 version) only printed in German text or was there an english version of the games box printed in english. Thanks

No no, only Manyk release (face) was in English and only Attic release (spacefight) was german.

So basically the Amiga 1200 version was printed in English and the CD32 version was printed in German.

Box and Jewel Case
Ok thanks. Only 1 CD32 Boxed Version released in German language with the other English release in Jewel case only. I understand now.
