Question about the A590
Hi,
I'm a relative noob so please bare with me. I just acquired an A590 hard drive unit and was wondering whats involved in setting it up. I don't have the unit yet its on its way but from what I understand there are no disks etc with it and a little research I have done suggests there are install/driver disks needed for it. Is this correct? Also what would be involved in changing the hard drive inside it out to a bigger/newer one....can I use any IDE hard drive or are there special requirements or formatting procedures. Thanks in advance. |

You will need a SCSI drive not IDE and you will need a copy of HDToolbox wich is available on Workbench install disks. You could also use HDInsttool from aminet.
