UAE P96 RTG speed oscillations on x64 WinUAE

Toni, UAE RTG speed visibly oscillates on x64 version. It's clearly visible on most of the P96Speed tests - speed begins high and steadily slows down to regain full speed after two seconds and then slows down again to regain full speed etc. etc... It doesn't happen on 32bit version which is full speed all the time.

EDIT: it's not RTG only - when Fastest possible is selected AIBB shows wildly swinging speeds on every click too. x86 WinUAE has much more stable speed.

Another possibly related x64 beta problem - in OctaMED Sound Studio mix mode I get poppy audio dropouts. Doesn't happen with x86 version and non-beta x64.
Are these problems related to some beta-only (lack of) optimizations or some debug overhead?

Not enough information. Which beta? You sure you don't have CPU idle enabled? What does OSD CPU% show?
EDIT: or some weird forced vsync state. Test between D3D9/D3D11 and even DirectDraw.

Idle is at 0%
CPU oscillates between 100-108%
Vsync is off (FreeSync monitor)
Indeed happens with Hardware D3D11 only.

Enabling Enhanced Sync in Radeon settings fixed the issue.

Strange, this would mean there was some kind of forced vsync before option was changed.

I think vsync was set to "Off, unless application specifies" before...
