Delfina on Deneb doesn't work

Hi,

I have big problem, that I don't understand. For the first Delfina Flipper is working great on A1200. But on my A2000 (Blizzard 2060, Picasso II and Deneb USB) don't. I activate Deneb clock port (by command Denebclockport), next try tu run anything like: DelfMPEG or use AHI Prefs to select Delfina, these apps freez, system is working, but I can not run any app. Showconfig and WhichAmiga freez too. I tried Deneb update V8 for ZII, and V9 for ZIII, delfina.library from Floppy included and latest from Individual Computers web site. I tried on clear OS 3.1, and my OS 3.9 setup. I tried clockport cables from 9 to 20 cm. Kickstarts was stock 3.1 and (my) 3.9.
Maybe I need "mystic" updates for Deneb that side below said?
I have installed Delfina according to this: http://www.e3b.de/usb/main_mounting_e.html
I read this post http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?...fina+clockport , maybe problem is Blizzard? Or 060?
Or maybe I should use Denebclockport with some args? But which?
What is Delfmem tool, and what is Delfinit? As I know Delfimem is no need with latest delfina.library.

Hi radzik,

I don't have much to offer, except that I was unable to get my Melody Pro clockport card working on my A2000/DENEB. The system freezes as soon as you try to init the board with MelodyControl. Though I haven't yet spent much time trying to figure it out. :-/

Delfmem and Delfinit both open the delfina library, initializing the card. I've never needed them on my Delfina Lite (they sometimes crash the card anyway), and Delfinit's patches are only useful with very old libraries.

Today I sent to them mail. But already I know my (new) Delfina is dead... doesn't work in A1200 too, the same things like in A2000.

BTW: Which usb card is the best for Amiga? Is a big CPU load when using them?

Yes. USB is CPU intensive communications protocol.

Technically I guess it would depends on which USB sound card it is. Most have a line in. You'll need an RCA->3.5mm Stereo Jack. There are mixer controls available in the drivers which come with Posiedon.

Who uses a CD with an Amiga? IF you don't mind making up your own cable then probably.

It could be useful with some games (Napalm, Fundatione).
