Looking for A1200 Service Manual

Hello,

Helping a friend repair his dead A1200, so I am looking for an A1200 Service Manual for download. Most sites I checked only have schematics, but I would prefer full step-by-step troubleshooting guide.

Thanks!

Not really a case of step by step.

If the Amiga boots that's a good start. Then it's a case of replacing the electrolytics, repairing traces / vias, making sure your voltage rails are right and fixing up the audio.

Such thing probably not exist - all service manuals i have (they are titled Service Manual and marked by Commodore logo) it is list of parts, exploded view + schematics - there is no step by step troubleshooting...

btw

stil you can buy a new A1200

Caps were replaced by previous owner and it worked fine until about a week ago!
It does not boot. Power LED is on, but floppy does not click and display remains black. ROMs were tested in another A1200 and are OK. Also, tested it with known working A500 and ATX power supplies.
This is pretty much stock A1200 with 4MB RAM card. For testing purposes, I installed Blizzard 1260 card but it remains dead.

Any suggestion is appreciated!

Checks and repair can be done by Amigakit

I'll bet a bad solder joint on one of the new caps.
