New Street Fighter 2 for CPC !!

Hello guys, after Pinball Dreams, we have a new jewel currently in development for CPC 128k :

https://video.twimg.com/ext_tw_video...z-87aztKzc.mp4

As you can notice, it's 10 times better than any Speccy, C64, or even Amiga version

The original Street Fighter wasn't that fast, though.
A little bit faster than this, though..

Anyway, looks great. Hard to believe this is an Amstrad CPC.

looks amazing. is there a better video available? and is this a CPC plus extra horse power? I doubt this is running on a standard 464 right?

Wish someone would create a proper amiga port one day

I just hope the characters won't have a black outline like the ball in Pinball Dreams... makes it practically unplayable.

It run on a standard CPC classic.

It is an Amstrad CPC, this new game is currently coded under CPCtelera, with the help of the Winape emulator.

I know the Amiga port was crap, but saying this CPC version is 10x better is just ridiculous.

Also again your comparing a 128kb CPC6128 to the C64 and Speccy, i wouldn't say this is a fair comparison.
Let's see them do this on a stock 64kb CPC464 and i will be more impressed.

In saying that it does look really good, but play speed looks very sluggish.

there is a reason these videos are blurred, because if you un-blur them then the viewer's eyes will bleed from the ultra-saturated wide pixels.

Even so. If what the video depicts is actually a plain Amstrad CPC6128, then this demo is a heck of an accomplishment, putting the Amiga's own version of Street Fighter II to shame. And we can't compare the Amiga with the CPC in terms of hardware. The first is in a whole level of magnitude over the second. Thus, producing a better replication of SF2 on the humbler machine is a meritable effort regardless of what compromises were made. I, for one, would be looking forward for a complete version of this, though I don't think it will ever materialize.
