So cool! Thanks for the efforts in the compilation of software packages for mk68! I am curious about your hardware setup: how responsive is the NetBSD/amiga with it? I have a 060 as well, but no RTG graphic, so I have to use X11 with AGA. Responsiveness in the GUI is OK with AGA, but I guess using RTG would be a huge boost.

Yes, rtg is a lot faster I also compiled a complete mate desktop Environment, but it was too slow and unstable needs about 6 weeks 24/7 for the build Because of the huge ammount of dependencies

We need a New kernel without the limitation of Max 364 mb Ram Because of the old Sun compatibility this is useless in my eyes

I would love to see support for the Warp 1260 RTG -which I own- but I think the user base is not that big and that there is not (to my knowledge) documentation about low-level programming of the graphics part of the card.

Aboyt the 384 MB RAM limitation in NetBSD/amiga kernel, I guess you are aware (or even participated) in this thread. A bit of dicussion there, but as it usually happens, time investment is needed.

More technical details about this please

Did you originally use Amiga 3000UX before you switched to NetBSD or were you NetBSD from day one, also how much RAM and hard drive space did it have?
I'm guessing you would have used command lines compared to X11?
Was There a NeXT machine as well?
