Amiga A-500 Plus Disk Error
I recently bought 'Silent Service II' for my amiga and you have to create 2 game disks from the original ones. My machine is copying the first disk and then after verification it comes up with:
Disk copy error. Cannot open amigaDos device. Floppy failed returncode 20. I can't get it to copy the second disk and the machine aborts. Can anyone please help?? |

you want to get XCOPY or something similar ?
it is a lot easyier if you have an external floppy drive as well. the shell command should work, COPY df0 to df1? |

Can you give any more details? What do you mean by 'have to create 2 game disks from the original ones'?

Perhaps he means you have to back them up first?

Yeah, I'm just curious as the 'you have to' part-- It doesn't make sense.
If it's about backing them up then surely that isn't doable with uncracked commercial games? |

Slightly OT but I'm sure I remember there was a program that actually forced you to back up the disks before you used them... Easy AMOS maybe?
I know this is a bit different, being a game and all but it's not totally unheard of. |
