Is it me or the more you start collecting Amiga computers the more models of them you want?!

So without further a do please vote! Anything not on the list is either because I have it or don't want it!

I think it's fair to say this should be in 'off-topic'.

I wouldn't mind an A4000 with Video Toaster to play with and see where the max. level of rendered 3D lies on the Amiga...

I'm one of the few that loves the look and the small size of the A600. It's perfect as a games machine. 99% of the classics aren't AGA anyway, and with a decent harddrive and accelerator, it's an excellent games machine if sexed up with WHDload.

EDIT: on the other hand, it looks like you're missing an AGA Amiga, so I'd go for either the A1200 or A4000 (which I really really want). I say the A1200 'cause it's so damned sexy.

I did have a A1200 many moons ago (1994 iirc) but I sold her off a few years later in 98/99... I was thinking of a 1000 earlier tonight but it would probably be a PITA hardware wise/upgrading... hmmm 1200 is very tempting and loads of hardware bits flying around on fleabay...

edit: P-J - i think you're probably right!

edit2 : I do have a CD32 as well - so AGA is here too

Oh, no. The 1000 is good to have on a shelf if you want a museum piece, you know, "just to have one". They are mostly useless for games, though. They go cheap typically.

I have a 600 and a 1200. The 600 has an HD in it, but I've never tried WHDload on it. Will it run stock?

Mine's awesome for 1.3 games. I have a hard drive and RAM upgrades for it and it works awesome. After 20+ years, still going strong.

Interesting... so it was Jack Tramiel who built Commodore, and it was Medhi Ali who destroyed it.

@r.cade

WHD should run, but i do suggest more memory

you may find it wont run on games that are larger than 800kb in main memory

He was the President of Commodore International appointed by Irving Gould in around 93 I think.

He made a lot of unpopular decisions which lead to the demise of Commodore.

If you watch the video that Dave Haynie made (deathbed vigil) it shows them actually burning a doll of Mr. Ali on a bonfire
