Super Skidmarks Add-On Disks?
I remember during the last few years of me having my Amiga, I purchased and played an original copy of this minor add-on pack for Super Skidmarks, which I think consisted of a new program disk and two new track disks. I'm not sure if it's in the TOSEC so far (none of them say "Add-On" or anything and I can't really remember the version info of this pack from back then).
Care to divulge some info about this pack and whether it's D/Lable anywhere? |

As far as i am aware, the final version was Ultimate Super Skidmarks on CD32.
I do have the full fursion with all 6 track discs as a HD install, or there are 2 versions at Back to the Roots, including the first CD32 version. If memory serves me well mine is V2.21. I dont think the planned upgrade disk ever made it officially, other than the Ultimate CD32 version which i believe had a few tweaks. |

Hey, I remember this. I registered Super Skidmarks and got an extras disk with (I vaguely remember) a cheapo label - one of those black and white jobbies that looks like it was produced with a cheap bubblejet. Still got it somewhere.

That may be obvious, but have you checked to see if any place or FTP has those disks in the above names?

No
I simply divulged the first part of the information you asked about, ie. "if it's in the TOSEC so far". |

Well, I've looked on many FTPs and on Planetemu so far, and they don't have disks under those names. Do you happen to know of any places with more up-to-date TOSEC collections?

Haha, thanks for that idoru you sneaky bast!
I'm sure you were called something else before earlier this week, Medvind... I sort of realised though, that there may not be a way to install these extra track disks to hard disk through ADFs, unless Classic/Quartex cracked the installer function from within the game so that it would accept cracked disks? If not so, then we may need to see if somebody owns the originals and can get them sent to the CAPS honchos for preserving and all that. |

I do own the originals, and I have dumped them for CAPS...but they're no good for preserving purposes :/
So it's up to someone else... |
