A590 with SCSI2SD - checksum errors
I tried to change old SCSI disk with SCSI2SD adapter in external A590. AutoBoot is working with kickstart 1.3, but i get checksum errors. Where is problem? SCSI2SD is rev.5 with default setup, Amiga is A1000. Thank you

I.e you have used the software to setup the card to either 1 or more LUns? Also when you setup the SD card, say a 16GB you have set this up as 14.9GB NOT 16GB as the card is not truly 16GB? Last edited by Leon Besson; 06 March 2022 at 00:48. |

Sooo, i found a solution. Problem was with bad mask and max transfer. Now its everything good. A590 with scsi2sd works fine in A1000 or A500
There was no problem with scsi2sd configuration. But thank you for your help and interest. |

Out of interest, what did you set your maxtransfer to? I wasn't aware of limitations related to that in the SCSI2SD.

Performance will be better with a larger max transfer on SCSI interfaces if the drive supports it. |

When the interface device driver relies on ATA1-specific features for large transfers, which are removed/change behavior in ATA2+.

With “256 bytes”, Toni means “256 blocks” if anyone wonders.
