Well.
When I go to the page, it either doesn't load, or, only loads a small portion of it (at rare instances, I get the entire working page ![]() I have no idea what's wrong, but methinks RCK forgot to carry the one ![]() |

The problem is that I still don't have this bug on my computer(s) ...
how can I fix one problem which don't exist for me ? I may be coming from your computer / internet access... If you still get the problem, try to take screeshot & explain me what you are doing with the EAB. But I'm pretty it doesn't come from the abime server... did you also have this bug with others section of abime.net ? (jambo, mods-jukebox ...) Also try with other network than your ISP ![]() |

ok. All I'm doing is going to Who's Online....That's all
![]() I don't experience this with Jambo (I've never gone to the Mod Jukebox)....It doesn't happen with this board either (only the Who's Online section) I seriously doubt it's my ISP, but I'll check out this possibility in a couple of days Here's some screenshots This is what it looks like when I get lucky (note the cutoff.....That's part of the bug) |

Then what I get, not as much as the white (which is IE choosing the white colour....not your site), but often enough

And this is what I get...I will open a thread in a new window using the new message icon to the left of the listing on the New Messages page, and the page downloads and will stop, failing to display the tables containing the messages. This usually only happens on long threads. And refreshing usually fixes it. Sometimes I have to refresh several times. But here's what it looks like before refreshing (1024x768 image reduced to 700x525...)

Okay, dudes, I have stop the Gzip process which was compressing all the EAB's page on the fly.
The main EAB's page should be now arround 30Ko and no more 4Ko. (pfff, I don't like to lost bandwitch like this ... ) -> Yours problems may be the fault of your navigator which didn't support well the gZ pages, or the fault of the gZ module on the php4 apache server... So during the next few days, please post here if the board display is corrupted or not for you. btw: no problem with the board & my IE 5.50.4522.1800 / SP1 / Q299618 (with the Gzip output) |

to all the guys who have some display problem with gZip compression (before), please post here the WebBrowser & which version you were using, thx.
Quote:
This method permit to save at least 60% of the bandwidth used by EAB's members (if they have one compatible browser), so it is pretty cool (when it worked). |
