There you go guys a rare once in every few years opportunity to get games that might otherwise will never be found unmodified, considering the era mentioned.

Can anyone pay for this or should we start collecting for the next roughly 24 hours to take it?
There is a risk involved that everything there we already have, but that is unlikely.

edit: I think this is the unsold remains of a warehouse collection we started to bid on in association with other projects a long time ago, but we were outbid badly at the time.

It's a pity the guy can't even give a breakdown on what percentage is what - you might end up with 99% cassette games and 1% Amiga stuff

I say start collecting.
There's £100 to start us off.
edit: obviously we need someone to collect and store this stuff.
edit2: Also, given his other auctions I imagine anything of real value will have been removed and sold seperately.

Hi Tourn, long time no see.

You mean the vcs carts? Most people have no idea of home computer software value, but think if it is early and and cartdige based it should be expensive

Can anyone visit this guy before the end of auction and check out the Amiga, ST titles?
Or maybe ask the guy about what percentage they are roughly?

the auction says:

"There are varying quantities of each title. Some have only a few copies, others have 100's of copies. I would estimate that there are in the region of 1000 different titles covering all the platforms mentioned above."

now, one way i read this, is that if he estimates that there are 1000 different titles, and you then spread them titles to cover all the platforms, that doesnt leave many _different_ amiga titles to be had.

Hmmmm. I live 10 mins from the location of this lot! But I guess that it'd be difficult to look through it all, even if the seller would allow!! Plus there ain't much time

There is still 12 hours left.
Tin since you live the closest to this guy, please take a look around especially Amiga, ST, VIC-20, CPC wise
oh, and let's not forget SAM Coupe.

If we knew for sure it is worth the hassle hopefully we could collect the money needed in a few hours.

i'm nowhere near chester.

but we could lock tin in there for a few hours to buy one or two of everything and then leave the rest for whoever has too much space and money there should still be around 50,000 left after all

what the hell would we do with 50 copies of Xenon for the spectrum?

I live quite close to chester but have no transport so I don't think I can help, however if you need a small amount of storage space nearby, or a tea stop , let me know

I think both tin and PeanutUK should head over there sharpish and check out his stuff. Because it will take a little while to scrape the funds together if it really is worth it.

Hi,

Why not contact the winning bidder, after the auction. I'm sure he would sell the titles you would like, since theres about 100 copies of each
