Bad Dudes has some missing jump, ruined the game for me

also Mr Blobby was originally a Trolls game and the sprite should be hacked back to trolls.

Bad Dudes has other issues. I launched it the other day, it's also choppy, has less moves than the arcade and a second button isn't going to save the playability. Too bad as graphically it's pretty good.

BTW Rubicon has also recieved the joypad treatment. I'm taking on Pinball Dreams now, Risky Woods is started too.

Just want to say thanks for all the work that's gone on getting these games updated for cd32/2 button controls. It's much appreciated!

thanks. The downside is that now you have a shitload of whdload packs to update.

Blues Brothers still have pad issues (to be fixed soon) when a non CD32 pad is plugged in.

@JOTD I had a report from a Facebook friend that, when they play Watchtower with their Sega Master System pad, it auto fires grenades (so far as I know, the SMS pad is wired very differently to the Mega Drive one and should function more or less identically to a native two button Amiga pad).

I can't verify the issue myself but I thought I should pass it on. I figure there might have been some POTGO weirdness.

Strange. I have the Tecno Plus TP 511 which is 100% compatible to the Master System pad (with all SMS games). No auto-firing grenades here.

watchtower CD32 or watchtower classic whdload?

classic whdload version has joystick/pad detection. the CD32 version (using cd32launch) probably doesn't have this.

Hello,

I thought of 2 games which can benefit a lot from joypad Support :
-TwinWorld from UbiSoft : because it is a great platform game
-Super Offroad : one button for nitro and another button for acceleration (so we can control direction using up and down like on consoles version and it will really improves playability)

Thank you very much.

This would be awesome, as the Graftgold conversion of Super Offroad is almost arcade perfect and the only "issue" is joystick use

I'd second this - to swap turbo/accellerator in the race.

It might be easier to simply put 'up' on the second button, but this isnt as natural as say Indy Heat.

To do a proper swap, and make this be optional per-player would be ideal.

Menus need to stay unchanged too, as UP is used there to navigate the name entry.

Additional feature request - allow player 3 to be controlled from a Parallel Port joystick adaptor.

@Jotd:

Any chance that you have a look at Turrican I-III at some point?

I'm revisiting the old classics, so maybe. Turrican 2 is on my list. But I could work full time on all those projects (plus the ones I have on the side with various people) for years! of course I'm not going to add full joypad support to Tiertex shit.

Fair enough. Yes, seems like a lot of work. Even if you concentrate only on the good Amiga games.
