WinUAE showing Windows drives and folders as empty

Hello here

Well, installed WinUAE yesterday and tried my AmigaOS3.9 CD.
Everything installed fine, but when I go into Win HD_C or WinHD_D, it just show it empty.
Same when I mount a Windows folder using WinUAE Hard Disk configuration.

Any clue where it comes from ?

Hello and welcome.
From the Workbench pull down menu select Window/Show/Show All Files.

First time I try to use an Amiga on my PC (My A500 died some weeks ago... But I'm gonna get a new one with an A1200 soon ^^)

yup, and if you want that out of the way Toni, just think about moving it to Apps problems, gonna feel much tidier here afterwards for sure

This is is still helping people all these years later - just made the same newbie error and figured it out thanks to this thread.

I would not feel bad about this, in some respect it is empty of content because there's no .info files to give a graphical clue. The second best thing after Winuae is getting Directory Opus for the Amiga, a showstopper of a program that makes life so much less complex in the Amiga world.

When you get a bit knowledgable in Opus you can make it automate doing so much. Loved it so much I brought it for the PC, it's a bit pricey but worth the money.
