Question about vga adaptor
Hello , just wanted to know what are those adaptors sold on ebay for A600 and A1200 with original Commodore vga utilities disk , are they good for gaming or only for workbench ?

Unless you have a VGA monitor capable of syncing down to 15 Khz (or doubling it somehow), these adapters are only useful for Workbench, because most games use 15 Khz display modes.

Full ECS Amigas (A500+, A600, A3000) can also output 31kHz doubled modes without a scandoubler. You need the super Denise for this..
Not that they're any fun to use on an ECS machine though. :-D |
