Userbase purged some time ago?

(Don't know if this is the right subforum, but I couldn't find any better)

I just created this user account here now, but I have been registered here earlier. Was there a purge that dropped me off the table, or what happened?

(For example you find me here http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=5265&page=2)

Hi NorthWay, welcome back!

If you're intending to stick around this time, you can try sending RCK, the EAB Administrator, a PM asking to have your previous and present accounts merged.

Then, once you reach ten posts, you won't have to worry about being dropped from the memberlist again.

Your account only gets deleted if you have less than 10 posts and didn't log in for 3 months IIRC. If you PM RCK with your old accounts, you should be close to the 10 posts I guess

On a side note, I registered somewhere on 2001 or 2002 and was purged(?) -> re-registered on 2004. Would like to see my old posts, especially the first ones

I believe RCK is offering you to merge your old posts into your new account.

This way your account will have more than 10 posts in total and will therefore be immune to automatic pruning. And ofc, you will be able to search easily your old posts.
