No need to be sarcastic. adidas is a proper noun and is never written with a capital letter. That is the official stylized writing style of the company since many decades.

@Crashdisk
SPS ---- Powerplay - The Game of the Gods (1987)(Arcana)[0856] should be Powerplay - The Game of the Gods (1988)(Arcana)[0856] -This is enhanced version of Powerplay! ...fixed, Crashdisk Powerplay - The Game of the Gods (1987)(Arcana)[compilation Astra Pack][1786] should be Powerplay - The Game of the Gods (1988)(Arcana)[compilation Astra Pack][1786] -This is enhanced version of Powerplay! ...fixed, Crashdisk What about to add there "Enhanced"?, big problem? (and also, "to all version of Powerplay" in ADF section, 1987 is normal, 1988/9 is enhanced) ADF ---- Pinball Wizard v1.0 (1987)(Kingsoft) and Pinball Wizard v1.0 (1987)(Kingsoft)[a] Shouldn't it be added there some flag [m xy..]? These 2 adf versions are not like original SPS "Pinball Wizard v1.0 (1987)(Kingsoft)[1300]". After Pinball Wizard title credits, you can hear the speech "Sound modification.....by Digitec(k)...." These 2 adf versions have different music and samples compared to "SPS 1300". (BTW pre-release, v1.0, v2.0 have the same music) ...fixed, Crashdisk I don't know if compilations use "versions" in the names, but if yes so: Pinball Wizard & Quiwi (1987)(Kingsoft) should be Pinball Wizard v1.0 & Quiwi (1987)(Kingsoft) Helter Skelter (1990)(Audiogenic)[cr Ackerlight][f AGA NOMAD] should be Helter Skelter (1988)(Audiogenic)[cr Ackerlight][f AGA NOMAD] -This is normal version of Helter Skelter! All other ADF versions (7x) are enhanced (1990). What about to add also there "Enhanced"? ...already fixed, Crashdisk Mixed-Up Mother Goose (1987)(Sierra)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr SR] should be Mixed-Up Mother Goose (1991)(Sierra)(Disk 1 of 2)[SCI remake]or[Enhanced][cr SR] -This is enhaced version of Mixed-Up Mother Goose! Mixed-Up Mother Goose (1987)(Sierra)(Disk 1 of 2)[cr SR][a] should be Mixed-Up Mother Goose (1991)(Sierra)(Disk 1 of 2)[SCI remake]or[Enhanced][cr SR][a] -This is enhaced version of Mixed-Up Mother Goose! Mixed-Up Mother Goose (1987)(Sierra)(Disk 2 of 2)[cr SR] should be Mixed-Up Mother Goose (1991)(Sierra)(Disk 2 of 2)[SCI remake]or[Enhanced][cr SR] -This is enhaced version of Mixed-Up Mother Goose! ...fixed, Crashdisk !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Mixed-Up Mother Goose ADF is sorted in "Educational", but SPS in "Games". Shouldn't be both (ADF and SPS) in "Games" or both in "Educational" section???? ...fixed, Crashdisk Don't you want to think about "Enhanced" flag again? On a first look, very problematic to know what is "normal" and what is "enhanced" version (if you don't know release years). There is only a few games suitable for it. I was asking for it last time and you are not able to answer. Last edited by Crashdisk; 12 July 2020 at 11:09. |

@Velociraptor5
First of all, thank you for your suggestions. I agree with you about annotating the new version of powerplay with an [enhanced] flag. But, be careful not to make the filename too long and it's a risk to force oneself to add this information. For Powerplay, this is not a problem. Replacing [SCI remake] with [enhanced] would effectively make the information more generic and understandable, in addition, the term "SCI remake" is not officially used (at least on the packaging) but it is widely used on the internet to refer to the enhanced version...using both is not an option! I will finish some corrections/additions and freeze my files for a future version of TOSEC |

Ok i have fixed the following ADF : Cyber Assault (1991)(Trojan)[t +5 FSN]
The root track block 880 was faulty. Fixed with track 40 of the original disk, and replaced the faulty file inside the disk image. Image ADF zoned. |

Hi dlfrsilver,
you've been reckless! your repair is useless and harmful to the game. Rootblock : The game is noDOS, repairing the rootblock has no particular interest. DEXTER.APG file repair : you removed the backdoor to the trainer, it doesn't work anymore. Code:
Original code > $31fc3fff0314 : MOVE.W #$3fff,Something Trainer hack > $4eb900068400 : JSR $68400 Sorry guy... |

Q: are any of these fixes or the Galahad and Meynaf conversions or even Ross crack fixes and the QTX release recently gonna be included (maybe already?) in TOSEC days?? I think they should be but maybe others don't!?

If you find that certain things of value are not in TOSEC, don't hesitate to let us know here. We are not omnipresent and the work of updating TOSEC is episodic for mai and me.

Hi, I am new here and in my personnal Amiga 500 demos collection -- around 40 floppies I transferred to ADF in 1997 -- there are two ADF that are completely unknown by Tosec DAT.
I have tried to find matching candidates with ADF-workshop and all its available ADF DB. I have not found any. It might be of interest for you Amiga Tosec maintainer to add these two disks. I have uploaded them in the Zone. Tosec Set: Commodore Amiga - Demos - Music ADF Name: Dechavanne Remix 'On se calme' (1990-3-31)(The NewComers Team) CRC32: C8B7F70D MD5: 783184DF9138D7574E65A4656D4C4F39 Description : this is a music disk (the lyrics are extracts from a french TV show presented by Christophe Dechavanne) Tosec Set: Commodore Amiga - Demos - Packs ADF Name: Intros and Demos Collection #21 (1990)(Dragons) CRC32 : FFC72030 MD5 : 21455B7DBEBF37BA1374715A30D83C83 Description : seems to be in the same collection as "Demo Collection #11 (1989)(Dragons)" and "Demo Collection #12 (1989)(Dragons)" because the menu is really similar. This #21 pack includes demo from 1990 :
