A2000 3
Ok this one looks to have more spread of the Varta damage but might be more fixable.
Another 6.2 board with V2.04 37.175 MX kickstart rom. This machine had ALL of its screws in. So I would guess the Rom change was the only thing done in the past, though I am not sure what versions of PAULA, DENISE, or Agnus these machines came with or have now. Once again if someone has ideas on how to clean boards, CPU and in this case Zorro slots it would be appreciated. I also have a spare A2000 power supply. Though my main A2000 has a power supply with a mesh cover so unsure if that is an upgraded one. |

You are going to want to pop out all the socketed chips and clean the pins on them with some isoprop an q tips. It will take time, don't rush, be gentle when removing the chips as black/green pins mean corroded and may break.
For the zorro and cpu slots give them a spray with contact cleaner and a rub with a soft bristle toothbrush. I suppose you could use some warm soapy water and a soft bannister brush or paint brush to clean down the board, then rinse a few times and leave out to dry for a couple of days. |
