rapidroad usb audio sampling

Hi,
just checking several usb audio devices.
Poseidon is recognizing all off them.
When i start AHI, it looks, that i can only playback audio but not recording audio!
Is it not possible ?

What are you running the RapidRoad on? X-surf100 on A3K/4K or A1200 via the Clockport?

The A1200 Clockport is slowwwwwwwwww….

Maybe you need some software for recording.

Someone in the know should be able to answer that for you Bromigo!

You can try http://aminet.net/search?query=ahirecord but it need be configured first. Or try some other OS friendly recording software. E.g. SoundFX or SamplitudeOpus.

For now i'm trying just with A600 and Furia 020 40mhz.
On Ahi settings soundcard is shown but input is disabled.
Yes, i know, that is slow but i have some other Amigas to build up with higher turboboards.
Just like to know, is it in general possible to record over a usb audio card!?

I have the same question. I have used some el cheapo usb audio cards, then a SoundBlaster XFi go which is better, on a DENEB with perfect result to play mp3 CPU decoded. However, i am still looking for a way to use MIC/line in input on these USB boards with Poseidon, not only to record but also to transmit to the audio out). Is it even possible with the usbaudio class of Poseidon?
