Leisure Suit Larry Enhanced problem

I've started playing the Enhanced version of Leisure Suit Larry as I completed it years ago on the PC.

It is the WHDload install of the game.

I get to the casino and try to play either BlackJack or Slot machines to build up some cash. Nothing happens, game just freezes. Is this a known problem?
If so, is there a fix.

WHDload version is 17.2

The preinstalled LeisureSuitLarryEnhanced_v1.1.zip seems to use the broken BTTR (Backs2roots) disk images. Installing the original IPF disk version should fix it.

Unable to find images, also can't find a second hand original copy. If anyone has a confirmed working WHDload version. Could you help me out?

Mailman should have original disk images. Sadly i don't have the SPS #2838 neither.

Sorry to bring this thread up, but I'm surprised that after almost a decade, this problem still persists in the generally available version of this game.

When I enter the casino and try to play the slot machine, the game freezes. I downloaded different WHDLoad game images, and the same thing. Is no one playing this game and just keeping it on their hard drive assuming it works?

So where can I find a working version of this game?

I gave LeisureSuitLarryEnhanced_v1.1.lha a go and yes it does seem to Freeze/Stop as soon as you attempt to play a slot machine..

I tried several Slot machines and they all do the same thing..

Quick update. Didn't want to wait to play this great game. I created my own WHDLoad image using the file linked above (that version is hacked to always answer correctly on the startup questions) and works correctly in the casino!

This issue has nothing to do with WHDLoad, just the most commonly found floppy images has corrupted file. Replacing RESOURCE.002 file from a good floppy fixes the game.
