CAPS Stuff

Sorry for not making this clear before now!

HOL is free to use any scans in any CAPS releases. The scans that come in CAPS releases are not owned by CAPS, they are for the "Amiga Community", as it is only us and the original developers that care about them isn't it!

As such, we remind people that we have no rights on them and would never try to claim any - if we cared about that we might have watermarked them (but we really *HATE* that).

This way people can use them for great things! Please use them to help HOL!

This is not entirely selfless: Perhaps one day HOL and CAPS can work together on scanning stuff to save all this duplicated effort... It is a bit of a pain getting releases out atm as they need scans.

And I plan on scanning some stuff for CAPS soon, as well. I just need to dig out the CD with the full scans I have already done (and then scan the side panels for them that need it).

I converted and uploaded all the (missing) CAPS scans to HOL this afternoon. I also added CAPS to the contribution list with 30 points.

Just one thing, can you say "C.A.P.S. + Contributors" in the credits? It is not only the immediate team that do the scans. We can then give these people thanks personally on our website (as soon as I get some time to do it).

If you can, it would be nice if you could link it to our site?

I really like your points system btw, really bloody good idea for motivation. Maybe we should nick it

I've changed the credit to "C.A.P.S. + Contributors", but the reference field is a numeric value, so I can't add the CAPS website, unfortunately.

BTW, the scans for Grand Prix Circuit, they are not the CAPS ones are they? If so, what happened to them?!

Nope, they are not from CAPS. I think I forgot about that one, I'll check it out later tonight.
