Problem starting Putty
Forgive my profound stupidity, but I can't seem to get Putty (one of my old favorite games) to start in WinUAE. I've downloaded the disk images from a few different locations, but when I start it up all I get is a CLI prompt... no loading action. Little help?

Have you got a XBoX ?
If so, install the SNES emulator and put the SNES Putty ROM on your HD... and Let's ROCK :-)
I was a Putty addicted on Amiga and am REALLY happy now to be able to play EXACTLY the same game on my XBoX !!!! This is HUUUUUUUUUUUGE ! ... and guess what... "Putty Squad" which was UNFINISHED on Amiga works PERFECTLY fine with my XBoX too... ... If you need the ROMS... let me know... schrinker@caramail.com |

after the crystal intro, it just resets... using standard A500 winuae config... any ideas?

you guys are right my A500 config had Fast ram not Slow ram at 512k... have always referred to the trap door ram as Fast but according to wikipedia..
The original Amiga 500 had a trapdoor on the underside of the machine that took an upgrade to 1 megabyte of RAM. The extra 512 kilobytes was classified as Fast RAM, but was sometimes referred to as Slow RAM since due to the design of the trap door slot bus this RAM is actually on the graphics bus i have learned something today! |
