Great Games - That were not well known

I spend hours browsing through Hall of Light, trying to find games that I may of missied when I originally had an Amiga.

What games did/do you love that were never well known.

I still enjoy playing:

Ports of Call: Great trading sim
Battletech: Jap style RPG on Amiga
Kult: Wierd but great and an awesom soundtrack
Yo Joe!: Best platformer ever?

Typhoon Thompson!

It has beautiful graphics and great animation, atmospheric music and sound effects and an anti-hero who doesn't really want to go!

Try playing it with a trackball if you've got one.

Yo Joe was good but very flat and I finished it in 2 days.

One of the games that was not very popular but was still a great game was Mean Streets. Excellent game, great variability in the gameplay, cool Bladerunner-esque atmosphere.

Yo! Joe is good, but hardly the best platform game ever.

Benefactor, that's a game that deserves to be more known..

Yeah I missed you too Alky
Ok great subject! my choice is Lords of War.
It's a warlords (see Atari VCS) rehash. But it's got cool music and graphics and great solo action (for freindless guys like me)

Yo Joe? Very playable and fun - but - very easy too - i finished it after one day...

Benefactor - great game - but very well known in Poland .

Not popular gems?

Lionheart (one of my alltime favourite)
Fire and Brimstone (very difficult game - similar to ghosts'n goblins, wiyh many, many traps)
Lolly Pop (very good platformer - nice graphics and very good music)
Leander (for me its better than Beast 1 and 2 together )
Elf (Ocean) - very good music
Traps'n Treasures - graphics average - but gameplay - superb, plenty of weapons, enemies, - great game - one of the best adventure platformers.Try it!!
Cedric - good but not great mix of adventure and platformer.

Yes, I also finished Yo! Joe in a couple of days playing it, and without using continues ...

D/Generation is another underdog... I hardly see anyone talking about it, and it's a damn fine game....
