Anyone got any clue how to run this on WinUAE? I'm assuming it can be done.
I think these are the right specs for the game; 68030, AGA, 8 Meg RAM, CD-ROM Now I tried this spec and mounting the game via alcohol and adding a path to the mounted cdrom in winuae, with 3.1 Kick and it didnt work, went to Amiga dos prompt grey page. I tried CD32 config with extra ram, this booted the CD32 start slightly different to normal but didnt boot into the game. So I'm lost to how to run this game correctly, I read somewhere on this forum a while back that if any software is for a real Amiga, it can be run on WinUAE ![]() Any help please guys ![]() |

It's an Amiga CD game, not CD32 compatible. Check older EAB threads.

Either you need an installed WB+CD-Rom driver, or the script which KG mentioned.

I'm afraid you have to burn the CD. Use analog audio out. The only way i was able to hear the audio tracks in Amiga CD games. |

There is no need for adding anything in the HDD tab. I mentioned it not so long ago.
Getting to AmigaDOS means the game shouldn't be loaded with a CD32 config., it's a "pure" AmigaCD game, meaning you simply need click on the executable icon from the WB. |

for the CD to be mounted and appear as an icon on your WB desktop, uaescsi should be ticked and pointing to SPTI (in misc panel).
Alternately, you may try it with NeroASPI if you have Nero installed. You're not running Windows 98 are you ![]() |

Yes, check the Aminet for some cd-rom drivers. Try this, or maybe AsimCDFS or CacheCDFS.

Do you a proper Bin/Cue or Clone CD dump? This cracked ISO/version doesn't have any CD audio tracks, iirc.

Looks like the proper image. Don't burn it as a Data CD. Use Recorder -> burn image or mouse rightclick "open with.." and then browse Nero.

With my nero-pack comes a little handy tool named 'nero image drive'
If you got that, it can mount .iso and .nrg |

Sure, but you can't hear any Amiga CD game music tracks with the mounted image. Maybe with the old DemonTools 3.47, last version with analog audio support.

In fact, you shouldn't need to have that setting activated.
Not a problem for a quickplay, but the usual way is having your CD mounted via the uaescsi device (aka SPTI set in misc. tab). If you like that kind of games, [ Show youtube player ] is another impressive shooter (for PCs). But even on the Amiga, I find there are better ones (with a more balanced gameplay). And, yes, if you can't afford a Core i7, Dual or Quad core are the way to go for faster & better gaming (I had one of those Athlon64 a few monthes ago, so I can be trusted when evoking a huge boost, AND a better hibernate mode). The verified solution is a WB+CD-rom driver+burned CD+analog out (sound card connected to your CD/DVD drive.
