JIT mode for 68040 available?
I am running FS-UAE in OSX (love it!) but am having trouble finding where I can enable JIT. I like emulating at real speeds most of the time, but I need the "cheater" speed boosting for some more intensive work I am doing.
Thanks for any help. |

You can add uae_cachesize = 8192 to custom configuration. Note, it only works for 32-bit builds, and a few of the latest development builds are 64-bit where JIT does not work.
The stable version is 32-bit / has JIT included, and coming development versions for OS X are also 32-bit again. |

I assume the OSX version I am using is 64b then? (I'm using the latest normal version of FS-UAE for OSX) I can launch Parallels and run Winuae or the 32bit version of yours if it supports it. Not an ideal option, but I'm fine with it.
Thanks for the information. |

If you're using a 2.5.x development version, you can upgrade to this one: http://fs-uae.net/devel/2.5.5dev3/ (it's the latest OS X build, and is 32-bit). 2.5.6dev+ will also be 32-bit

Ah sweet. I'll do that now. My rendering is taking a real-world 1m 3s per frame and this is.....too slow.
