Title: Unknown at this time
Genre: Flick screen & scrolling (at some points) platformer-metroidvania. Original concept: Not completely, is inspired heavily from Knight n' Grail C64, and probably will be using parts of map of KnG. All graphics are original though. Expected game size: About 100 rooms. Targeted spec: A500 1MB (512K Slowmem). Adf or HD PC: Grafx2 (for drawing)/Photoshop. Description of game: A metroidvania-exploration adventure inspired by classics like Castlevania, GnG, KnG etc. Sneak Preview, still in early stage Last edited by nobody; 26 October 2018 at 11:10. |

Yes did some work on them after your advice.
Found a way to draw the original map of the game with my tileset ( i am not expert on Tiled). Probably need around 2 days to update 1/3 of map. The original game map is split in 3 pieces that will load seperately. Last edited by nobody; 26 October 2018 at 11:14. |

It looks great so far. Just small unimportant detail. When you draw candle glow, is should be centered around the flame, not whole candle / light and there is usually dark spot (shadow) under the candleholder.

Seems the contest can result to some really great games, this one is VERY promising, fits perfectly to my favourite genre!

Not sure why, but this reminds me of Epic.
Can we have other game mechanics from that game, as well bit of crude humor? Well done! |

Game halted, consider it out of the competition due to no progress and delays. Sorry, not enough time to make it until competition deadline.
Not entirely dead but frozen for now. |

Oh no, this is sad news
...but the game doesn't need to be totally complete by the end of the competetion. It will be judged on where it's at and you can obviously continue working on it afterwards. |
