AmiTCP and Filezilla

Hi all, hope there's a simple solution to this.

I've connected my A1200 to my PC using a PCMCIA card. I'm using AMITCP, I can ping my PC and also connect via filezilla. However I am unable to view folders. I recieve the error - "failed to parse return path".

On the Amiga side I have "DH2:" in the file Amitcp/db/ftpdir

Any ideas? Do I need to use a different PC FTP client?

Cheers

In the Filezilla Site Manager try changing the 'Server Type' in advanced.
Also try Passive mode in Transfer Settings.

Filezilla is a pretty decent client. Unfortunately the FTP protocol isn't the best.

I normally connect from my Amiga to my PC using SMBFS.

You can try and change the server type in filezilla. Alternatively, I beleive there are some options on the ftp server side to format the returned path.

Filezilla works perfectly. Just make sure it doesn't transfer in ASCII mode. I use it in combination with Ftp server rc-ftpd.

Thanks all.

Yes I had to change a setting in Filezilla (server type = DOS with forward-slash separators).

Works fine now
