-Test Drive III Amiga version

Hello,

Anybody know something about Test Drive III, Amiga version?

Back in time, early 90´i saw in diferents Amiga World Magazines some Amiga Stores Ads, selling Test Drive III for Amiga, but the curius detail was never published the price as in other games announced, for the test drive just said "Call"

Anyway, anybody know something about this almost mythical game?

Regards

Simple and fast answer: There's no Test Drive 3 for Amiga.

Can you find us an example of one of these adverts? I'm curious to see it.
I would be hunting through Amiga Magazine Rack myself, but I have no clue at all what year I should be looking in, or which magazine cover contains this advert.

Somehow I don't think the Amiga version of TD3 would have made it beyond a brief mention Accolade staff meeting.

And that conversation probably ended with their Amiga coder explaining that there was no way they could get it running at a playable speed on an (OCS) Amiga.

Besides, I've played the game on PC many moons ago, and I can tell you, we Amiga users are not missing out on this one.

I never, ever seen TD3 advertised as being available for the Amiga. It was released well past the Amiga's prime time in the US and I doubt it was even considered, EVER, by anyone at Accolade.

I searched that too years ago and read something announcement or anything on a magazine. I searched and searched but came to the conclusion that there is not a demo or anything released of it.

Test drive was so great, then it was real crap (offroad, 4, 5, 6 etc). Now, with TDU Unlimited 1+2 Test Drive came back to the old glory, but I like TDU 1 more then TDU2. I played Test Drive 3 on an DOS PC (PC version) but it ran much too fast (cpu speed was too fast / pc was too new for the game) and it's not that much brilliant if I remembter (also without the speed problem)

And what about happy country music... Test Drive 1 & 2 were more serious.
