Can you find us an example of one of these adverts? I'm curious to see it.
I would be hunting through Amiga Magazine Rack myself, but I have no clue at all what year I should be looking in, or which magazine cover contains this advert. Somehow I don't think the Amiga version of TD3 would have made it beyond a brief mention Accolade staff meeting. And that conversation probably ended with their Amiga coder explaining that there was no way they could get it running at a playable speed on an (OCS) Amiga. Besides, I've played the game on PC many moons ago, and I can tell you, we Amiga users are not missing out on this one. |

I never, ever seen TD3 advertised as being available for the Amiga. It was released well past the Amiga's prime time in the US and I doubt it was even considered, EVER, by anyone at Accolade.

I searched that too years ago and read something announcement or anything on a magazine. I searched and searched but came to the conclusion that there is not a demo or anything released of it.
Test drive was so great, then it was real crap (offroad, 4, 5, 6 etc). Now, with TDU Unlimited 1+2 Test Drive came back to the old glory, but I like TDU 1 more then TDU2. I played Test Drive 3 on an DOS PC (PC version) but it ran much too fast (cpu speed was too fast / pc was too new for the game) and it's not that much brilliant if I remembter (also without the speed problem) gehtjanx |
