how to hack games
I have been unable to find .adf files of some of my old amiga games on the internet and I'm interested in trying to hack my disks so I have the ability to back them up onto my computer using either the catweasel or amiga explorer. EAB is the only place I could think of where I would be able to find people who were once members of prestigous amiga game hacker clans and could possibly help me with my predicament. So..somebody please help me get started! I have no idea what to do.

The FAQ section might have something to help you.
You could also look into WHDLoad which includes tools for making images of (specific) disks. |

If you want to learn to CRACK then check out flashtro.com as it's got some guides to get you started. But you'll need to be good at 68K assembler as well to do a good job (IMHO).

If you want to learn to crack PROPERLY musashi5150, you need to learn from the Hoodlum school of cracking.
1). get the original 2). use the move.w #$4e71 instruction 3). use liberally over the entire gamecode (you must randomly pick places to insert the NOP's) 4). Then release to your awaiting fans Thats 'real' cracking! |

Would this be directed at The Black Cat, perchance? Last edited by musashi5150; 26 June 2006 at 12:09. |
