Problem using two real Amiga joysticks: unwanted mouse input!
Hello,
I built a PC competitor interface myself and use it to connect two Amiga joysticks (mainly for playing SWOS). It all works, I configured the controller correctly under Windows and configured WinUAE (1.34) right (I think..). But when I start a game that uses two joysticks, both joysticks work, but one is also controlled by the mouse. For instance, when I play SWOS, I can control both teams but when I release one joystick (Joy1), the player keeps running in one given direction. This is controlled by the Windows mouse. When I move it, the player starts running in another direction. Sometimes after trying for very long, the mouse gives a neutral input. At that point, I turn it upside down and I can enjoy my game using two joysticks. In WinUAE, under 'Game and I/O ports', I set both ports to 'none'. Then under 'input', I configured 'configuration #1' to use my competitor interface. Is this a known problem? How can I tell Winuae to not use the windows mouse for input? I hope someone can help. Kind regards, Rinusch. |

You must disable the mouse (untick the checkbox next to the name of the device when mouse is selected) if you use input-panel.
Input-panel allows multiple devices simultaneously. |
