Using a 6mb sram card as a 4mb card? possible?

Hi, I have found a 6mb sram card for £20 posted. Now I know that an A600 can only take 4mb of Sram, so is it at all possible to use a 6mb card as a 4mb card?

Can I format it to 4mb using prepcard? Any other methods?

Thanks

My guess is that it will work but only be able to address the lower 4MB.

However I've never tried that.
